The Software Engineer is a hands-on technical role supporting the implementation, integration, validation, and documentation of solutions across Defence, R&D and Public sector bid work, demonstrations, and delivery activities.
The role works closely with the Lead Software Engineer, XR and cross functional teams to convert technical concepts and architectures into working prototypes, reusable components, documented integrations and delivery-ready solutions. The role is intentionally a broad technical position, it includes applied AI integration, real-time application development, general software engineering, API integration, technical documentation, testing, and deployment support.

The role supports the Senior Training and Requirements Lead in translating customer needs into well-defined, technically sound and deliverable training solutions and services. Working on assigned tasks across the Systems Approach to Training lifecycle, the role contributes to customer engagements through to acceptance and through-life support, and offers a clear development pathway towards senior training and requirements roles.

Security Clearance:
